All Aflutter Wishing You Well

I used a card sketch from Dawn's Stamping Thoughts for this card. I have used this template a few times now and always love how my cards turn out. It is a fun one. I left a photo at the end, but Dawn has literally hundreds of these templates. You should check them out!

Supplies (from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Card Base: Pool Party cardstock cut at 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" on the long side, sentiment panel was just cut to fit the stamp I used

Basic White Cardtock inside cut to 4" X 5-1/4"

Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP cut using measurements on the template, added a 4" X 5-1/4" panel on the bottom

Stamps: Greenery Lane for sentiment and All Aflutter Bundle for the Butterflies

Ink: Basic Black, Flirty Flamingo

Punch: All Aflutter Punch

Other Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals (to pop up the center DSP panel, butterflies and to level up the sentiment panel to the same  height as the DSP panels), Stampin' Seal Adhesive Runner, Paper Trimmer

Adhesive-backed sequins are from a retired pack.

Time to Celebrate All Aflutter

I love using tilted layers on a card because sometimes it is really annoying to try to get things on there straight and with equal margins. This help alleviate that stress a bit. Plus, it adds interest and whimsy. 

Supplies (from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted):

Card Base: Basic White Thick 5-1/2" X 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4" on the long side

Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP: Bottom is 4" X 5-1/4", Black and White layer is 3-3/4" X 5", third layer is 2-13/16" X 4-1/16"

I roughed up the edges of my DSP with my fingernails after adhering it down to the cardstock. You could also use the edge of your detail scissors or a distressing tool if you have one. 

Sentiment Cardstock: Basic White 3-1/4" X 1"

Stamps: Butterflies are from All Aflutter Bundle and sentiment is from a retired set called Beautiful Butterflies

Punch: All Aflutter Punch

Ink: Basic Black, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, Pool Party, Barely Blush

Embellishments: Rhinestone Basic Jewels colored with Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends

Other Supplies: Stampin' Dimensionals (to pop up the "sky" layer), Stampin' Seal Adhesive Runner, Paper Trimmer

I love butterflies, so the All Aflutter Bundle was an immediate add-to-cart for me. I think it goes beautifully with almost any paper, but the colors in the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP are so good for summer vibes right now.

Sunshine Aflutter

This is one of my favorite go-to card designs. I love that I get to have two large pieces of patterned paper and a good size focal point.

Butterflies On My Mind

I received a comment from someone recently on one of my Instagram posts that made me think that I should blog again. She asked if I ever share measurements or if I make video tutorials. I don't make videos because I haven't had the time or energy to learn how to edit. I suppose I could do live videos, but I also need to figure out a recording set up. My desk is very narrow and I don't currently have a cell phone stand or tripod. Baby steps, right? Blogging is easy.😉
