Warm Winter Dreams

The Winter Dreams DSP is just stunning! The white print is actually raised, kind of like white embossing powder gets once heated. The texture just makes it extra. And I love a little extra!

Warm Alpine Cabin

Doesn't red plaid just scream cabin in the woods to you? It does to me and that's why I paired it with the pretty but subtle sketched cabin paper in Crumb Cake. I just love all of the patterns in the Alpine Winter DSP. So rustic chic!

Have the Best Winter Day

I love the fun pine tree frame die in the Winter Adventures Bundle. When you use the impressions plate with it, it's magic. I love the pretty dimension. I don't know if you can really tell that well in the photos, but I used white craft ink to make the trees look snowy and add dimension to the ground for a snow drift effect. It's prettier in person.

Winter Birthday

When I first saw this DSP, it immediately screamed masculine cards to me. It is sometimes so hard for card makers to get ideas for men or boys, and nature is usually a pretty safe bet. Add to that, the snowshoes are great for a sort of winter sports theme. That's not to say this couldn't be for a woman, obviously. But, it's another great one for men/boys if you're needing ideas and you know some that are into winter sports and/or nature in general.

Thinking of Winter

I knew immediately upon seeing the Alpine Winter DSP that I would need it, but the dies really called my name. As an avid card maker, I love dies. But, I have a particular affinity for anything to do with mountains and trees. So I was so excited to see this suite. I did not get the stamps because they just didn't call my name. But, there is still time. 😆

You can visit today's blog post to see more information about this card like product and measurements.

Sending Caring Thoughts

This is definitely my favorite card this week and I can't even take credit for it. I CASEd the design from another creator but I don't know who it was. I took a screenshot of a video thinking I'd remember. I've searched my viewing history and can't figure it out. So, if this is your design, or if you know who's it is, let me know! I did change the colors, images and pattern. But I did use the same bundle, DSP pack and embossing folder.

Something to be Thankful For

A nice, simple card design is a great way to show off your stamped or die cut images and adding some embossing keeps it from feeling to plain if you're a bougie card maker like me. 🤣

If you like a simpler card, you can scale it down by leaving off the embossing layer and the die cut over the large leaf. Both are equally beautiful options. I should have done both so I could add a comparison photo. 🤔
