Sharing a Thank You

I know....it's been FOREVER since I blogged. It's how I roll lol (My son says I'm too old to say that. I say, whatevs :).

I honestly haven't been making many cards :( I go through these phases where I just don't really wanna. I still love looking....and buying :0
But, I do feel the itch for papercrafting coming back. In fact, just last week I made these two cards as a special thank you for some customers at work.

Sometimes I think that I have a lot more motivation to create a card if I know who it's going to. In fact, I know I do lol. I think it allows it to be more personal, even if I don't really know the person. I don't know. That might just be me. I definitely know it's more personal when I am well acquainted with the recipient. Because then I usually have an idea of what they are into as far as hobbies and interests as well as colors they like or dislike.

For these, they were going to ladies who use essential oils. So I wanted some nature going on. And usually green and purple are popular colors for essential oil enthusiasts. So that's what I was looking for with my paper choices. I haven't used the "Share What You Love" paper near enough. And it's gorgeous. So I decided to use that for these cards.

Of course, you guys, I found inspiration on Pinterest. I am not that talented! This design was taken from the card you can find here by the talented Chris at BuckeyInklings.

For this card, I used a fun fold (I think it's called the joy fold?) and the following Stampin' Up! products available for purchase at the Stampin' Up! store. Please, if you don't have a demonstrator already, choose me as your demonstrator when you go to checkout. My name is Chelle Scott, and I live in Utah :)
