Today I am sharing a birthday card that I made for my brother. I absolutely love the "He's the Man" suite collection from Stampin' Up!, and this was the perfect opportunity for me to use it again. There aren't many masculine papers in this industry that don't have anything to do with nature or sports. So I really love this one, even though I didn't use any of the fun icon prints on the paper that are included.
We are going axe throwing today to celebrate Andy's birthday. So I added the little hatchet icon on the inside as a fun nod to the occasion.
I find that I never really have a lot to say on the inside of a card. so this design was perfect for me. I just wrote a few lines on the inside of that crumb cake strip of paper.
I followed a YouTube tutorial from Linda Edwards (Crafty Heron Designs) for this card. Y'all know I don't ever come up with a design myself lol.
Cardstock: Basic Black, Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake (Sahara Sand would have matched the DSP better, but I didn't have any.)
Designer Series Paper: He's the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (comes with the little die cut pieces I used for the sentiment, hatchet icon and star)

Embellishments: Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots
